Hyrum Wahlquist, O.D.

Hyrum Patrick Wahlquist, O.D. earned his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Florida in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology in 2019. He obtained his Doctor of Optometry from the University of Missouri - Saint Louis in 2023 As an optometry student, Dr. Wahlquist participated in a variety of rotations specializing in glaucoma management, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and ocular disease. Dr. Wahlquist received the Community Outreach Clinical Excellence Award for exceptional care of patients in a community healthcare setting in 2023. He is fluent in the Spanish language and enjoys mitigating the gap in eye care in underserved populations.
