John T. Bell, M.D.

Since 1985, Dr. Bell has practiced general ophthalmology in West Virginia and Florida – specializing in cataract surgery and advanced Glaucoma treatment including shunting, filtering, and endoscopic laser treatment for advanced disease. Dr. Bell performs selective laser treatments for early- and medium-stage Glaucoma, reducing the need for topical medications. He also has an interest in complicated and recurrent pterygium management with the P.E.R.F.E.C.T. procedure (without the use of chemical agents or radiation) pioneered by Dr. Lawrence Hirst of Australia. In addition, Dr. Bell has interests in advanced dry eye care and medical and laser treatment for diabetic eye disease.
