Realty Directions Privacy Policy

Last revised: September 21, 2026. Effective when first published on the Sites.

This Privacy Policy explains how Realty Directions Inc., doing business as Realty Directions ("Realty Directions," "we," or "us"), handles personal information when you use RealtyDirections.com and the local Directions websites we operate (the "Sites"). The Sites share certain account features while offering distinct local experiences.

Video features accessed through the Sites are powered by VideoHomes.com LLC. This Policy explains how information may be provided to VideoHomes through the Sites. Direct use of VideoHomes.com outside the Sites may be subject to a separate privacy policy.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide, including your name, email address, phone number when requested, account and profile details, property or business inquiries, saved items, business-listing submissions and corrections, photos, videos, and messages you send us. If you act for a business, we may collect information about your relationship to that business.

We also collect information about use of the Sites, such as pages visited, searches, video interactions, device and browser information, IP address, and approximate location derived from technical information. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate Site features and outside analytics services to understand Site use and performance.

We may receive business information from public sources, data providers, business representatives, and people who suggest corrections. Some business information may identify an individual proprietor.

How we use information

We use information to operate accounts across the network; provide property, business, video, and community features; respond to inquiries; maintain saved items and user choices; review submissions and claims; protect the Sites from misuse; understand and improve performance; and meet legal obligations.

We may use contact information to respond to requests, send account or service messages, and send marketing communications as described in this Policy. A private property inquiry or saved search is not a public submission.

We do not provide your private property searches, saved items, or real-estate inquiries to VideoHomes or another outside company for that company's independent marketing or advertising. This does not prevent us from using service providers to operate the Sites or from sending relevant inquiry details to a real-estate professional involved in responding to a request you make, as described below and subject to applicable confidentiality and authorization requirements.

Information displayed publicly

Information submitted for a public business listing, profile, video, or other public feature may appear on one or more Sites and may be accessible through search engines or permitted distribution features. A business contact address chosen for public display may differ from the private email used to sign in. Do not submit personal information for public display unless you are authorized to do so.

VideoHomes.com LLC

Video features offered through the Realty Directions Sites are powered by VideoHomes.com LLC. To operate those features, we may provide VideoHomes with account information and information associated with videos you submit or manage.

VideoHomes may also receive registered users' basic contact information, such as name and email address, to tell them about VideoHomes services, media professionals, video-production opportunities, and related offerings—even if they have not uploaded a video. VideoHomes may use information provided for video features to operate, improve, and secure those features, and may use the basic contact information described here to promote its own services. VideoHomes does not use your private property searches, saved items, or real-estate inquiries for its own marketing.

Marketing emails from VideoHomes will identify the sender and include a way to unsubscribe. Choosing not to receive marketing emails will not prevent you from receiving messages needed to operate your account or respond to a request you made.

Outside providers and other disclosures

We use outside providers to host and secure the Sites, deliver communications, measure performance, support video features, and help manage inquiries. The information provided to each depends on the service or request.

If you ask for real-estate assistance, we may provide relevant contact and inquiry details to a professional involved in responding to or handling your request. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or complete a business transaction, subject to applicable law.

Advertising

We may use outside advertising services to promote the Sites and related services. In the future, this could include matching limited account contact information or using cookies or similar technologies to show our ads on other websites and apps. The private categories excluded from outside companies' independent marketing above are not included in this permission. Before beginning a new targeted-advertising practice, we will update this Policy as needed and provide any notice and choices required by law.

Marketing choices

You may unsubscribe from marketing email using the instructions in the message or by contacting us. Realty Directions and VideoHomes marketing preferences are handled separately. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop necessary account, security, or inquiry-response messages. We will not treat a general agreement to receive email as permission for unrelated marketing texts or calls where separate permission is required.

Retention and security

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the Sites and respond to requests, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, protect the Sites, and comply with law. Retention varies by type of information. You may request deletion by emailing us. After verifying the request, we will delete or de-identify eligible information, or explain why particular records must be retained. Information in routine backups may remain until those backups are replaced or expire.

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we hold, but no system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy requests

You may email us to ask about, access, correct, or request deletion of personal information associated with you. Depending on applicable law, you may have additional rights to obtain a copy of information, learn about categories of disclosures, withdraw consent, or opt out of certain uses. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we deny a request, you may ask us to review that decision by replying to our response.

Children

The Sites are intended for a general audience. People under 18 may not create an account or submit business content. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy and will post the current version with its effective date. We intend to make reasonable efforts to alert registered users to material changes. Please review it periodically. Continued use after an update may indicate acceptance where permitted by law, but an updated Policy alone does not authorize a materially new use of information collected under an earlier notice when additional notice or consent is required.
