Dalkeith Baptist Church

We are a church that believes that we are created in the image of a good, holy and loving God. Mankind sinned against God in the Garden of Eden and we are all born separated from God. We are born in sin and we commit sins and we rebel against our Maker. If we were to die in our sins we would be eternally punished in conscious pain in what is called “hell.” But God, being rich in mercy sent his own Son, the eternal Word of God, to become a man. He lived a perfect life and died as a substitute sacrifice for our sins on the cross. He fulfilled the Old Testament (Hebrew Bible) expectations that God would send a Savior to save His people from sin, Satan and death. He rose from the dead. He calls us to turn from our sins and trust Him alone.
